zion national park - A 34-year-old American has been terrified when, under appalling conditions, he was stuck for at least seven hours in the quicksand of the Zion National Park.
His girlfriend failed to free him and decided to leave her partner behind. She walked through the snow for three hours to the civilized world to get help. The area is so remote that mobile telephony is hardly possible.
