'Morocco returns Ambassador back from the Netherlands'

rabat - Morocco has recalled his ambassador to The Hague on Saturday. The Moroccan press office MAP reported that the government in Rabat decided to do so because The Hague would not cooperate in delivering a drug trader.

According to Rabat, there has been contact between the Moroccan and Dutch authorities at the level of government leaders and foreign ministers over the last two days on handing over the drug crimes of Moroccan origin.

Two international arrest warrant were issued against the suspect. The suspect would be a criminal organization since 2010 and be active in international drug trafficking. According to Morocco, the suspect is also involved in the funding of protesters in the Reef region in the north of the North African country.

For months, residents of Northern Morocco have protested for social justice and corruption.
