farindola - Rescue workers on Friday more survivors found in an avalanche destroyed Rigopiano hotel in central Italy. However, it is unclear how many people now have been removed from the rubble.

Until Friday, rescuers had counted six people at noon. Italian media reported before that eight survivors. At the end of Friday afternoon, Italian media reported the discovery of another five survivors in the snow at the hotel. Thus the number of survivors would have been thirteen. Among them are two small children.

The four-storey building at the site Farindola hit by the avalanche largely buried under the snow. Two people survived because they were outside when the wall of snow hit the hotel. The avalanche was Wednesday night place in the area that was rocked by a series of earthquakes. Rescue work is hampered by the persistent wintry weather.
