Moon open for better relationship with North Korea

seoul - The South Korean president Moon Jae-in is open to a better relationship with North Korea, but only when the communist country starts with the termination of its nuclear program. Moon said that Tuesday one day after the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un approached the south.

Although Kim stressed the importance of reducing tensions in the region, he announced that the country will focus the current year on the production of nuclear warheads and ballistic missiles for 'deployability'.

Kim believes that both North and South Korea should do their best to create a peaceful environment on the Korean peninsula. He is considering sending a delegation to the Olympic Games in February in Pyeongchang in South Korea.

Moon once again said Tuesday that he also thinks it is better for safety if North Korea participates in the Games. He called on the organizations involved to make work of it.
