Money couriers from people smugglers arrested

budapest - The Hungarian police arrested three Syrians carrying almost half a million euros in cash and 3 kilograms of gold. Presumably they are money couriers from an international gang that deals with the smuggling of people, drugs and weapons.

In addition to money and gold, bank accounts with a total of EUR 200,000 were also blocked. The arrests in Hungary followed investigations by the Italian authorities, the Hungarian police said.
