warsaw - Rescue workers have found the body of the last missing miner in the Polish Zofiowka mine. There, in total, five people died after an earthquake, coal producer JSW announced.
The earthquake struck the mine in the south of Poland on 5 May. This caused seven miners to get stuck. They were working almost a kilometer underground on the construction of a new tunnel. Rescue workers could previously relieve two stuck companions.
The earthquake had a force of 3.5 to 4.0. There were about 250 people working underground at the time of the quake.
