islamabad - The Pakistani professor and human rights activist Salman Haider, who was missing since January 6, was found Friday evening. According to police, the man finds in 'good physical condition.'

Four other activists and bloggers between January 4 and January 11 disappeared in Pakistan are not quite right yet. Among them is also Waqas Goraya, who lived with his family in Rotterdam the last decade and disappeared during his visit to Pakistan on 4 January.

The activists had themselves on social media and personal blogs critical of the army and the Taliban and the influence of Islam in Pakistan.

Haider is known for his critical columns for the English-language newspaper Dawn. He teaches at a women's university in Rawalpindi.
