Ministers Turkey and Germany talk

ankara - The foreign ministers of Turkey and Germany meet on March 8 to discuss the rising tensions between the two countries. The relations worsened Thursday when it was announced that performances of two Turkish ministers in Germany were stopped by local authorities.

The meeting between the ministers in Germany, as the Turkish Minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu and his German counterpart Sigmar Gabriel agreed in a telephone conversation. Relations between Berlin and Ankara are already longer under pressure. The deletion of the performances of ministers aroused much resentment in Turkey. In Germany, where approximately three million people have a Turkish background, includes annoyance about the arrest of the German-Turkish journalist Deniz Yücel in Turkey.
