Minister: police misconduct Cologne

- Police in Cologne has made serious mistakes around the turn. The police action is not acceptable, said Minister Ralf Jäger of the Interior of the State concerned, North Rhine-Westphalia Monday.


         Jäger spoke at an emergency session of the state parliament. He said that almost exclusively people with a foreign background the mass rapes and robberies committed at the station in Cologne. The police, according to Jäger failed to invoke reservemankracht. Jäger also complained about poor communication and lack of self-criticism to the police of the fourth largest city in Germany.
