washington - US Secretary of State Rod Rosenstein, according to The New York Times, has proposed to employees of his department and the FBI to make secret recordings of the chaos that would prevail under President Donald Trump at the White House. Rosenstein would like to come up with material to enable the deposition of Trump.

The New York Times reported on the basis of anonymous sources that Rosenstein came up with his proposal in the spring of 2017. He was then only two weeks in office and played a key role in the dismissal of FBI CEO James Comey. In a memorandum Rosenstein had explained that Comey should not have volunteered that Hillary Clinton should not be prosecuted for the sloppy handling of e-mails. Later Rosenstein would have gotten the feeling that in the Comey affair he had put himself in front of Trump's cart.
