Men robbing wrong McDonald's

besancon - Two French robbers had Sunday have chosen a worse target for their attack than McDonald's in the city of Besancon.

The fast food restaurant was packed with about forty customers when the two gunmen entered. One of them fired a warning shot while the other empty stole the cash register.

As the robbers, however, could not have imagined was that among the customers also eleven members of the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group (GIGN) were the anti-terrorist unit of the Gendarmerie.

The highly trained police officers, which include the normally left against terrorists and serious criminals, waited until the two restaurant so that the other guests would not be jeopardized. Afterwards, however, they give chase, French media report.

One of the robbers who had a booty of around 2000 euros with them, almost immediately became caught in the collar. The other was killed with a shot in his stomach after he had directed reinforced on the pursuers.

The unfortunate robbers were brought to the hospital and be prosecuted for armed robbery and assault.
