The GVC shareholders hold 53.5 percent of the combined company and Ladbrokes the rest. The two companies previously announced that they were talking about a merger.
Both companies already played a leading role in the merger wave of the last years in the British gambling world. Together they will be among the world's largest providers of online gambling and sports betting.
