Mega evacuation WWII bomb

thessaloniki - The Greek port of Thessaloniki on Sunday began a massive evacuation. Tens of thousands of Greeks have their house because of the dismantling of a bomb from World War II. It involves more than 70,000 people.
The 250-kilogram bomb was discovered at a depth of five meters during excavation work last week at a gas station in a busy residential area. Expert begin Sunday in the early morning with the dismantling, which will take several hours. Residents within a radius of two kilometers around the site to be evacuated. It is the largest peacetime evacuation in the history of the country.
