Medvedev: US declares Russia to enemy

moscow - By imposing new sanctions, the United States declares Russia to their enemy and 'not just opponents'. That said Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, reported RIA Press Agency on Tuesday. Nevertheless, Mededev had promising words for Donald Trump.

The Russian-American relations are at the lowest point in decades, Medvedev said. According to the Russian Prime Minister, Moscow is ready to announce new restrictions without further details.

Medvedev met with US President Donald Trump earlier this week on top of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Manila. He called him 'an open and kind person'. Medvedev said he spoke Trump after a dinner dedicated to the 50th anniversary of ASEAN.

Trump also saw Russian President Vladimir Putin during his recent Asia trip. But their meeting at the APEC summit in Vietnam remained limited to shaking hands.
