May is going to move with cabinet posts

london - British Prime Minister Theresa May plans to make changes in her government team. That reports the British newspaper The Sunday Times.

At least six government members will be replaced, says The Sunday Times. May wants her government to reflect more the 'modern and diverse' society. By appointing female and colored politicians, who are often younger, she wants to get rid of the 'white, male and old' image of the Conservative Party.

May will, among other things, appoint a new 'First Secretary of State'. That is in practice the deputy prime minister, who has to replace Damien Green. He had to leave on December 20 because he lied about pornographic material on his computer.

At the most important posts, that of Foreign Affairs, Internal Affairs, Finance and Brexit are unlikely to change. Foreign minister Boris Johnson remains at his post, just like the Ministers of the Interior Amber Rudd, Finance Philip Hammond and Brexit David Davis.
