May and Trump are talking positively about trade

World July 13, 2018 10:12

london - British Prime Minister May and US President Trump are going 'today in a positive debate about future trade relations' between the two powers. That said the British finance minister Philip Hammond in a reaction to Trump's statements in an interview with an English newspaper.

Trump denies May's policy for leaving the European Union and states that her plans for 'a soft brexit' are likely to be fatal for a separate new trade agreement between the US and the United Kingdom. He thinks that May is a far too soft brexit and that her political rival Boris Johnson 'does have what it takes' for the premiership. Foreign Minister Johnson resigned at the beginning of this week for dissatisfaction with Mays latest plan for a brexit, which still holds the kingdom under the wing of the European Union on important points.
