Massive demand for closure 'horror slaughterhouse'

the hague - A petition to the 'horror slaughterhouse' to close permanently in Belgium Tielt has delivered 130,000 Dutch and Belgian signatures within a week, made Animal Rights Monday.

The Flemish Minister for Welfare ben weyts had shut down operations at the controversial pig slaughterhouse last week. That happened after shocking revelations of Animal Rights on Thursday. Employees of the slaughterhouse (part of the Debra-Group) kicking and beating pigs and attract them to their ears to get them toward slaughter. They also cut off the ear tags on live animals in order to conceal that the pigs come from abroad.

The meat of the battered pork was sold to (accept) butchers in the Netherlands. However, the scale of the meat scandal in our country is still unknown.

The petition will soon be offered to Weyts.
