rocca mena - In an underground cave some 40 meters deep in the Sicilian village of Roccamena, near Corleone, the human remains of at least ten adults and two children aged between 12 and 14 years. That the Italian media reported Saturday.

Presumably the bodies were dumped there between the sixties and eighties of the last century. Probably the emerging mafia clan from Corleone gets so out certain individuals. The authorities are trying to discover the identity of the victims.

The mass grave was discovered in October 2016 after a tip. That happened after the death of Bartolomeo Cascio, the main boss of Roccamena and accomplice of Totò Riina. Cascio died this summer at his home in Roccamena, where he returned after his imprisonment because of mafia practices.
