Marshal leaves weapon on plane toilets

washington - A security officer on an American passenger plane earlier this month has left her armor on the toilet during a flight from England to America. According to American media, the loaded firearm was found by a passenger and handed over to the crew who returned it to the woman.

The incident was on a flight from Delta from Manchester to Kennedy International Airport in New York. The security officers, or air marshals, fly along since the September 2001 attacks.

In addition, the woman in question failed to report the incident as required. The air safety organization is investigating the matter.
