Many arrests in protest against Kavanaugh

washington - The American police arrested a large group of demonstrators who had invaded two Senate offices. The protest action was against the possible appointment of Brett Kavanaugh as chief judge. According to CNN, 302 protesters were arrested, who had 'unlawfully' entered the buildings.

Thousands of protesters had also gathered outside at the Supreme Court and the Senate buildings. They held up signs with texts such as 'faith survivors' and 'Kava-not'. Among the arrested demonstrators are also actress Amy Schumer and model Emily Ratajkowski.

Kavanaugh is accused of sexual misconduct in his student years.
