Manafort still in the cell

washington - Paul Manafort, the former campaign leader of President Donald Trump, still goes into the cell. Prosecutors accuse the 69-year-old businessman of trying to influence witnesses while under house arrest while awaiting trial.

Manafort was conditionally at liberty and had to stay in his home in Alexandria, near Washington capital. He also had to carry a GPS device with which the authorities can follow his walks. The judge decided to detain the American, because he 'harmed' the trust that was given to him. Manafort denies the accusation.

Manafort is being prosecuted for, among other things, money laundering. Nor would he have given up against the rules that he was lobbying for the Ukrainian government.
