Manafort offers millions of house arrests

In the investigation that special prosecutor Robert Mueller does after Russian interference in that campaign, Manafort and service business partner Rick Gates are the first to be sued. The summons contains allegations of a plot against the United States, false witness and money laundering. The charges relate to the period from 2006 to this year.

Manafort and Gates pleaded not guilty to charges on charges of a federal court in Washington last Monday. Since that day, Manafort is under house arrest.
