Man torn during attempt to make selfie with bear

india - A man was torn by a wounded bear when he tried to make a selfie with the animal. That is what Hindustan Times reports.

Prabhu Bhatara was together with a group of friends on the way back from a wedding when he wanted to use a public toilet in Odisha, India.

There Bhatara saw the wounded bear. According to Hindustan Times, the other occupants of the car tried to persuade the man to come back, but he was determined.

The bear broke Bhatara and the man died on the spot. The animal is treated to his injuries.

According to authorities, the occupants of the car filmed the entire incident with their mobile phones instead of intervening, the newspaper writes.
