Man threatens COA employees and grenades

kaatsheuvel - A 34-year-old man from Sprang-Capelle was arrested Friday as he had threatened staff at a refugee center. The drunken man shouted at employees of the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) in Kaatsheuvel that he had grenades,, and did not hesitate to use it. '

The man indeed seemed to have buried explosives from the Second World War in the Loon and Drunen dunes. Police found nine mortar shells and a phosphorus grenade. One of the grenades was unstable and was Friday in a clearing by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) detonated. In the man's house were also found ammunition still remains.
