Man kills puppy on Snapchat

- A 23-year-old man from Ireland is suspected of mistreating a puppy of only eleven weeks old. He would have mistreated the young dog with a hammer first and then put it in the microwave. The abuse could be followed via Snapchat, where the suspected perpetrator shared the images. The puppy, named Sparky, did not survive.

Last Saturday, the maltreatment took place in the town of Co Armagh. The 23-year-old man was soon arrested. A hammer was found near his house. Remains of Sparky were found in a nearby container.

The police are searching for possible witnesses via social media. Many people react shocked to the news. Snapchat has not yet responded to the incident.
