dundalk - An 18-year-old man stabbed a man in the street with a knife in the Irish Dundalk and injured two others. According to the police, these are randomly chosen victims. The suspect originates from Egypt. His motive is not clear.
The deadly victim is a 24-year-old Japanese. He was attacked from behind and stabbed in his back. He died on the spot. The two wounded are Irish. They are not in mortal danger, according to Irish media.
The police later overpowered the suspect. In addition to a knife, he also had an iron bar with which he attacked the unarmed police officers.
