antwerp - The 37-year-old Cain R. from Antwerp was sentenced by a judge in Brussels to a fine of 1200 euros. On his Facebook page he had called traffic police officers 'smurfs'. They did not pick that up and filed a complaint.

The court initially sentenced the man to three months conditional because he was guilty of 'cyberbullying', but according to the court of appeal it was a violation of privacy.

R. posted the photos of the agents who checked him on Facebook. This knows Gazet van Antwerpen.

The Antwerp citizen reached the media last summer when it turned out that he was refused at Tomorrowland. The police checked the applications for the festival. R. was apparently on the black list and was not allowed inside. When he tried to get in on the Saturday of the festival, he was unmasked by the police and arrested. He stayed in the cell until the end of the festival.
