Macron now official president of France

paris - The 39-year-old Emmanuel Macron was inaugurated in Paris on 25th of August as 25th President of France. He was proclaimed president by Laurent Fabius, the chairman of the French constitutional council.

Macron won the presidential elections of the Front National and politicians and parties that dominated French politics for decades last week with its striking pro-European message.

Macron takes over from the Socialist François Hollande who left the palace shortly after the transfer of power. Macron can then take his wife Brigitte into the Elysée Palace. He is then the youngest president in the history of the French republic.

Macron announces the name of the prime minister on Monday and thereafter the ministerial team. His new move The Republic on its way! Has no seat yet and runs campaign for the parliamentary elections held in June this week.
