Macedonia opens border with Greece again

- Macedonia Thursday morning his border with Greece again open to refugees and migrants. It has a Greek police officer communicated in the border town Idomeni.

Greece's northern neighbor closed the main border crossing Wednesday for both road and railway. In other smaller transitions the border could, however, be just crossed. The decision of Skopje fell after neighbor Serbia no refugees would suffer more who wanted to travel to Western Europe. Only residents of Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq were admitted. Why Macedonia has decided to reopen the important border post, is not clear.

About a thousand people who stayed Wednesday at the border between Greece and Macedonia, have spent the night in tents. Eight hundred others slept in buses.
