london - Alexanda Kotey, a 32-year-old Londoner, has been identified as a member of a British group IS militants. The Washington Post reported Sunday. This group also made Emwazi Mohammed, known as Jihadi John, part. The latter was notorious for its beheadings.

An official of the US intelligence and others who are familiar with British-goers Syria confirmed Kotey's membership of the group, responsible for the torture and execution of Western hostages.

The four British, through their prisoners 'Beatles' because of their English accent, are notorious for their extreme cruelty. Kotey's whereabouts are currently unknown.

In November, the US Department of Defense announced that Emwazi was slain in a US air raid on Syria. Emwazi, 'the executioner of IS', was featured in several beheading videos of the terrorist group. He was last February by his mother recognized in a video which shows that he beheaded the American James Foley.
