London is up against nuclear weapons

london - Tens of thousands of Britons have demonstrated against nuclear weapons Saturday in London. Following are the plans of the government-Cameron to stabbing more than 40 billion pounds (52 billion euros) in replacement of the British nuclear weapons arsenal. Money must be purchased include four new Trident nuclear submarines in the next twenty years.

The demonstrators find it ridiculous to spend so much money on nuclear weapons, while universities and make the NHS healthcare system are drastic cuts in many sectors and jobs are lost.

Among the protesters was also the Prime Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon. The nuclear submarines are stationed in Scotland.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn was one of the speakers and held a speech against nuclear weapons.,, We have to realize what a nuclear weapon. It is a weapon of mass destruction. If used, it kills large numbers of civilians, '' said Corbyn. He was the last of twenty speakers at the demonstration.
