munster - A bus was Monday in the German city of Münster almost without brakes run into a row of cars, which had to wait for a traffic light. As a result, according to the emergency services, sixteen people were injured, four of whom were serious. They are not, as far as we know, in danger of life.
One of them was the 28-year-old driver of the car of which the rear was hit first and the hardest. The car moved forward through the impact, causing a chain collision with two more vehicles. The 48-year-old bus driver suffered minor injuries. Three of his 27 passengers were seriously injured, eleven others less serious. All have been taken to a hospital for treatment.
How the accident, involving a total of 33 people, could still happen is unclear.
