Leg lost after spider bite

amsterdam - A 46-year-old man who lost his leg after an innocent spider bite now wants to warn everyone to look better.

The 46-year-old garden architect Andy Perry got serious back pain 48 hours after a job in Thorpe Astley in England who seemed to spread through his body more and more quickly.

Doctors in the hospital diagnosed a blood poisoning and therefore kidney failure. When he also got a lymphedema and his leg continued to swell painfully, Andy was desperate. 'I even considered cutting off my leg myself with a chainsaw. It hurt so much, 'says the Englishman in the Daily Mail. 'My leg kept swelling, until I all swear and blistered.'

After infinite testing, the bite of a 'false widow' spider (Steatoda nobilis) came just above the seam of his sock. 'I had not felt anything'.

Andy survived hell, but lost his leg. He now hopes for a new life, together with his sons Thomas (8) and George (5).

That will be partly in a wheelchair. Andy also uses the drtama to demand more attention for disabled people who, in England, still encounter too many obstacles.
