Launch of space explorer Tess postponed

World April 16, 2018 22:27

cape canaveral - The American space company SpaceX has postponed the launch of the Falcon 9 rocket with the new NASA space telescope Tess. The launch would take place in the night from Monday to Tuesday from Cape Canaveral, but has now been postponed by at least 48 hours. Reason for the postponement are problems with the navigation system.

Tess is an abbreviation for Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite. The space explorer needs to map whether there is another planet somewhere in the universe where life might be possible.
