Largest diamond-rich Belgium in payment problems

amsterdam (dft) - Eurostar Diamond Traders, Belgium's largest diamond company for years with € 2 billion annual turnover, is trying to avert a bankruptcy.
According to business newspaper De Tijd in Belgium, the debt of the provider of large rough diamonds has risen sharply, and is estimated at € 500 million.
