Kittens 'colored' with permanent marker
bradford - Animals Beulen have in the British West Yorkshire two little kittens 'colored' with waterproof markers. The police brought the animals straight to a shelter.
Employees of the
Bradford Cat Watch Rescue Centre immediately called a vet, because they were not sure how much damage had caused the toxic dyes. The kittens are only five to six weeks of age and were in bad shape, say staff at the British newspaper The Telegraph.
'This is a horrific case of dierenmishandel. Who knows what damage has caused this action, 'said Katie Jane Lloyd Center.
The kittens, which have been named 'Smurf' and 'Shrek' for their new colors in the center constantly washed since they arrived Monday to get the ink off their fur. They are slowly but surely clean again.
