Kim and Trump speak privately

singapore - North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un and US President Trump talk each other for 45 minutes at the start of their Singapore summit, that is, only with interpreters. This has informed the White House.

The summit starts at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning (3.00 am our time). After their tête-à-tête there are talks with more officials, including Trumps foreign minister Mike Pompeo and Kim's right hand Kim Yong-chol.

The summit is concluded with 'a working lunch'. The Straits Times reported earlier that Kim wants to leave at 2:00 pm (8:00 am). Trump leaves five hours later. He speaks with the press at 16.00 hours (10.00 am our time). Earlier it was reported that Trump would speak to the press in the evening, but he now leaves earlier than originally planned.
