maiduguri - At least ten people have been slain Friday by a suicide attack on a mosque in northeast Nigeria. Eleven people were injured in the attack, according to hospital sources.
The suicide attack in the city of Maiduguri occurred during the morning prayer. The region is frequently the target of attacks by the Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram, which has killed a thousand people since President took office in May Muhammadu Buhari life.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks. But the militant jihadist movement Boko Haram has been trying since 2009 to violently enforce their own state in this part of the most densely populated country in Africa.
