munster - The two victims who died in the German Münster by the attack with a camper van have been identified. They are a 51-year-old woman from the Lueneburg region in Lower Saxony and a man of 65 from the Borken region in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The police and the prosecution also confirmed that the driver of the bus shot himself. 'According to the current state of the investigation, the driver is probably a 48-year-old man from Münster,' the public prosecutor reported. What his motive was remains unclear.

During the search of the vehicle, officers found the firearm with which the perpetrator robbed himself of life, a fake pistol and fireworks. The van was carefully approached because suspicious looking wires were seen in the car. However, explosives have not been found.

The house of the defendant has also been searched. As a precaution, the police first blew the front door before agents entered. In the house they found a decorative weapon and more fireworks. The police did not make any further announcements about the rumors that possibly two accomplices had jumped out of the vehicle and fled.

More than twenty people were seriously injured in the attack. A Dutch woman was also taken to the hospital.
