dhaka - In the Bengali town of Chittagong, at least ten people were crushed to death and over fifty wounded. That happened according to the local police when a prayer meeting where free food stamps were handed out was completely out of hand.
The dead and wounded fell through the hustle and bustle at the entrance of the commemoration meeting of the recently deceased mayor of Chittagong. The family of the deceased had organized the meeting.
Although the organization had announced that there would be sufficient vouchers for everyone, a rush arose immediately after opening the fences, in which hundreds of people tried to enter at the same time.
