Kerry historic visit to Hiroshima

- US Secretary of State John Kerry brings a historic visit to the Japanese city of Hiroshima in May. He is the highest American who visits the peace monument with the famous Genbakukoepel since the dropping of the first atomic bomb on August 6, 1945.

Kerry is on April 10 and 11 already in Hiroshima, at a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the G7 Affairs. He then lays flowers at the monument to the fallen victims of the bomb. The United States have yet to decide whether President Obama also violates the city when he was in Japan in May for a meeting of the leaders of the G7, writes The Guardian.
