- Kenya will close the two largest refugee camps in the country. The East African country is doing this because of the âzeer zwareâ burden of the camps on the economy, security and the environment.

Kenya currently reside Zo'an 600 000 refugees, mostly from neighboring Somalia '. According to authorities, the slow repatriation 'ring of refugees poses a danger because the camps offer a refuge for militants of the Somali terrorist group al-Shabaab. Aid organizations believe that a massive return of refugees is not yet possible because of the insecurity in Somalia 'and the lack of facilities there.
