Juncker speaks Putin in Russia
brussels - Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission, attends a conference next month in Russia. He met there Russian President Vladimir Putin, but whether that will be a dialogue, will be announced later. That said Juncker's spokesman Monday.

The visit takes place at a time when its going on within the EU discussions on extension of economic sanctions, which expire on 31 July. The expectation is that this be extended for as long as Russia does not fully comply with the peace agreements on the fight in Ukraine. Juncker's visit, according to his spokesman did not conflict with the European sanctions.
