Judge states: Harvey Weinstein is being prosecuted for rape

However, the judge has decided that the indictment will not be rejected. Weinstein was confronted during the session with a number of actresses present in the courtroom, including Amber Tamblyn, Kathy Najimy and Oscar winner Marisa Tomei. Jennifer Lawrence was not present at the session. A hearing for the preliminary investigation will follow on 7 March.
