new york - The personal stuff of Madonna may not be sold at auction. That judged a judge in New York on Tuesday, reports the New York Post. The singer had asked for the ban because it was about intimate business. Among other things, a brush with her hair, worn lingerie and a love letter she received from rapper Tupac Shakur would go under the hammer on Wednesday.

In the court papers, she pointed out that her DNA profile could be detected by hair. 'It's bouncing and deeply insulting that my DNA could be auctioned,' she writes. She also tells her that she did not even know that she had no longer owned Tupac's letter.

The auction house expected to receive $ 400,000 (346,000,000) for the letter. It is appealing against the ruling. The case will be in court before September.
