phoenix - Joni Sledge, one of the sisters of the band Sister Sledge is deceased at the age of sixty.
She was found dead in her home in Phoenix in the United States. The cause of death is not yet known.
Along with her sister Debbie, Kim and Kathy she formed in 1971, the famous disco band that had hits with songs like We Are Family, He's the Greatest Dancer and a cover of the Motown classic My Guy.
