John Hinckley: I am completely better again

World August 8, 2018 20:24

washington - The man who shot President Ronald Reagan in 1981, filed a request to have all the conditions that were imposed on him two years ago after his discharge from a psychiatric hospital.

John Hinckley was found innocent during a lawsuit in 1982, because he was infeasible because of a psychosis. He thought he could impress the actress Jodie Foster with the attack.

In 2016, psychosis was so under control that he was allowed to leave the clinic where he was staying. Under conditions: for example, he is not allowed to travel freely and he has to consult a psychiatrist on a regular basis.

Hinckley now claims that he is completely in order again and can normally turn in society. At the end of this year an investigation will follow to see if this is actually the case.
