amman - The jihadists Tahrir al-Sham on Sunday claimed responsibility for the double suicide bombing in Damascus. When the explosions in the Syrian capital Saturday dozens of people were killed.
Tahrir al-Sham is an alliance of jihadist movements such as Fateh al-Sham (the former Nusra Front). The organization says that the attacks were directed against Iranian-backed militias, fighting for the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
