Japanese Prime Minister commemorates Pearl Harbor

- Prime Minister Abe of Japan in Hawaii commemorates the end of December the victims of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Japanese planes destroyed on December 7, 1941 a large part of the major American fleet in the Pacific. On that raid were more than 2,400 Americans killed.

Abe met with President Obama on the 26th and 27th of December. Together, they also remember the victims of 75 years ago. In May, Obama was in Japan, where he attended the first US president Hiroshima, the city that was devastated by a US atomic bomb on August 6, 1945.

The attack on Pearl Harbor were Americans involved in the war. The bomb on Hiroshima, in one fell swoop 78. 000 people died, led to the end of the Second World War.
