- Prime Minister Abe of Japan will support the postponement of the next round with VAT increase to 10%.
That turned out Monday. Opposition parties were in favor of the restriction. Just before the elections, the Minister of Finance reported on the authority of Abe that the tax increase will be delayed two and a half years.
The time was not ripe for a tax increase. Some time, both political parties and companies exerted pressure on Abe to not raise taxes because the Japanese economy, the third in the world, would harm.
